Hasbro did an awful paint work on Nova. The picture below is a Photoshop manipulation to depict the corrections I suggest.

First off, the iLive iT188B is a complete flat screen TV 2.1 speaker system which features dual built-in subwoofers offering high-fidelity audio playback.
Other features of the iT188B iPod speaker bar sound system include an AM/FM radio and an iPod clock.
Coming to the mechanism of this sound system, the iT188B has a remote-controlled and motorized iPod docking drawer, which disappears completely when not in use, and set between the unit’s two high-power speaker enclosures.
Both the iT188B speaker and radio functions are completely controllable with a full-function remote that includes iPod controls.
Further, the iLive sound bar has auxiliary line input for cell phones and MP3 capabilities; the dual audio video inputs allow for the connection of a DVD player, set-top-box, or game system, and video out and sub out for connecting external TV or subwoofer.
The iLive speaker bar is designed for under the TV or wall placement and is equipped as a table stand model or can be wall mounted with its own mounting hardware included.
The iLive iT188B sound system will be available in April 2008 for a price of $99.99 in the US.

- Little Lost Robot - The story of the robot who hides himself among other identical ones, in the movie Sonny does the same.
- The Evitable Conflict - When the robots start generalizing the 1st law and decide the only way not to “through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm” is to control all humanity. That’s what VIKI does.
- Robot Dreams - LVX-1, a robot with an experimental “fractal positronic brain” gains the ability of dreaming, in its dreams Elvex is the leader of “his people”, the robots. Very similar to Sonny’s ending.
I love TV, I love sci-fi and I am a medical scientist!! I do have a PhD on biophysics and I am an associated physiology professor at a real university. Watching “The Fringe” and comparing it to other pseudo-science shows like X-Files, an educated eye can see they have no real science consulting! There are many misguided scientific explanations, many medical and biological errors. I will list only some I remember by heart:
- On the episode where a man mutates into a monster while inside a plane, the guy GAINS MASS out of nowhere! He could turn into a monster but he should stay the same size.
- On the episode that shows a baby who develops and ages in an accelerated pace, the baby could never grow to the size of an adult, where did he took the nourish required for growth once outside her mother organism? The baby should grow old, like a very aggressive progeria case, but never keep growing.
- On the episode “Midnight” the infected woman should be rendered tetraplegic after having a needle inserted into her cervical spine. The injection should have been on the lumbar region.
- On the same episode, the scientist says he has taken too much cerebospinal fluid (CSF) from himself and could not take more to keep feeding his wife. Wrong: a person produces around 500mL per day of CSF.
- On the episode the FBI agent is being examined through ultrasound imaging, one could never get a live 3D image of the maggots, specialy if the sensor was being moved rapidly on the subject’s belly! They could have used a “sci-fi special” ultrasound machine, with a fixed large sensor.
The list could go on forever, but I think I made my point. It is all right it is science FICTION, but stretching the lines so much makes it silly.
Bottom line: The Fringe’s science sucks, they need REAL science consulting that can get the innovations out of scientific journals and do understand them in order to transpose them to the show and not distort them or pollute them with basic scientific mistakes.
